Another City Update

City Streets

I started to work again on my city streets. Mostly I blocked out how the city will be set up and taking some of the already modeled buildings and placing them to other places. I'd say with buildings I am about halfway modeled. Have a few big places to model out still and need to add some more props into the streets, but all and all it is coming along.

I was learning a bit about Unity with the help of some of the tutorials over at 3DBuzz.com Below is a link to what I created using their tutorials. Everything is about the same as in their videos except I didn't have their campsite or mine 3D models so I placed a few of my own in. You might recognize them from some of my earlier posts.

100th post!

This is now my 100th blog post! Who would have guessed that I would actually have kept this blog around and going for this long? Hopefully I will have some new projects to post in the coming weeks. I have been so busy with so many things, its been very crazy. Onward and upward!

FranknSon Trailer

This is actually a little old, I just noticed I had never posted it up. Its the teaser trailer for the FranknSon project I had been helping out on. Some of the scenes in this where animated by yours truly, it was probably the first real professional project I had ever worked on.

City Street Runthrough

I was going through my files when I found that city street I had started modeling a few months ago. I decided to make a small camera run through of it by screen capture since I have no images of the entire model.

There is a lot of things that aren't finished yet, and I still have to go back and bring down some of the poly counts on some of the buildings seeing as there are a lot of unnecessary polygons hanging around.

From Coast to Coast

Took a short vacation trip to San Fransisco. Some lovely buildings and statues out there. I'll be posting up some of the pics in this blog for the next few days.

Finally Unwrapped

It took me a while but I finally managed to get most of it unwrapped. Its not very neat and there are a few things I will probably go back and redo when I am texturing, but for now this stage is done.

I am hoping to work on my website this weekend, hopefully I can get this done soon after.
